Target's Early Black Friday deals are live through Saturday, Nov. 7, and its Holiday Price Match Guarantee already covers purchases made from Nov. 1 through Dec. 24. Target has published its holiday store hours, Deal of the Day schedule and extended returns in a corporate FAQ updated Nov. 5. Here's every date that matters, how Circle and price match work, and the tech deals deal sites are reporting as of Friday, Nov. 6.

Target Black Friday 2026 dates
- Early Black Friday deals: Thursday, Nov. 5 through Saturday, Nov. 7.
- Deal of the Day: every day from Nov. 1 through Dec. 24. Target says you can preview tomorrow's Deal of the Day one day ahead.
- Weekend limited-time offers: most Thursdays through Saturdays throughout the holiday season.
- Black Friday and Cyber Monday: sales are coming (full Black Friday ad not published yet as of Nov. 6). Deals appear on Target.com, the Target app and the weekly ad; Target points shoppers to target.com/blackfriday for Black Friday deals.
- Thanksgiving: all stores closed Thursday, Nov. 26 (you can still shop Target.com and the app).
- Black Friday: Friday, Nov. 27 — stores open at 6 a.m. local time and close at their normal closing time.
- Extended store hours: Nov. 29 through Dec. 23; hours vary by location via Target's store locator.

Target Circle and Deal of the Day
- Target Circle is Target's free loyalty program. Circle deals and some offers need a Circle account (join free in the app or at Target.com). The paid Target Circle 360 tier gets early access on select events such as Circle Deal Days.
- Deal of the Day runs Nov. 1–Dec. 24 with one featured deal each day. New this year: you can preview the next day's deal one day in advance. TODAY.com noted 40% off select Tonies starter sets as a Deal of the Day during the early sale window (see deals below).
- Combining offers: Target says some coupons, Circle offers and gift-card promos can stack depending on terms — check each offer's fine print.

How Target's Holiday Price Match works
- Holiday Price Match Guarantee: from Nov. 1 through Dec. 24, Target will match its own lower price later in the season if an item you bought goes lower at Target.
- What it is not: this is Target matching Target, not a promise to match Walmart, Amazon or Best Buy during Black Friday week. Always compare before you check out if you're price shopping across stores.

What that means for you: buying during the Nov. 5–7 early window is lower risk if Target later drops the same item further before Dec. 24. Keep your receipt or order history handy.
Holiday returns
For qualifying purchases made Nov. 1–Dec. 24, 2026, Target's extended holiday return window begins Dec. 26, 2026:
- Electronics & Entertainment (excluding Apple and Beats): return by Jan. 24, 2027.
- Apple & Beats products and unlocked/prepaid phones: return by Jan. 8, 2027.
- Most Target Plus items (excluding seasonal holiday décor): return by Jan. 24, 2027.
Target Circle Cardholders and Circle 360 members may get extra return time under Target's normal return policy. Other items follow standard return windows.

Our take: if you need AirPods Pro 3 this weekend, Target and Walmart are essentially tied near $199 per silive and our Walmart check — use Target's Holiday Price Match if you buy there and Target goes lower before Dec. 24.
