Best Buy Black Friday 2026: Sale Dates, Member Perks, Price Match Rules and the Best Tech Deals Now
Best Buy's Early Black Friday Deals start Nov. 6 and its 10-day sale Nov. 19. Dates, member perks, price match rules and tech deals now.
Best Buy's Early Black Friday Deals and Doorbusters start tomorrow, Friday, Nov. 6, and its main 10-day Black Friday sale begins Thursday, Nov. 19. Unlike Amazon, Best Buy has published its whole holiday calendar, along with extra rewards for My Best Buy Plus and Total members and a Holiday Price Match Guarantee that runs into January. Here's every date, how the price match actually works, and the best tech deals deal sites are reporting at Best Buy as of Thursday, Nov. 5.
This is No. 3 in our daily Black Friday series, with a different retailer each day through Cyber Monday. So far: Walmart's Black Friday dates and deals and what we know about Amazon's. For every retailer's dates in one place, see our Black Friday 2026 overview.
The skim
- Dates: Early Black Friday Deals and Doorbusters from Nov. 6, with new deals every Friday. Black Friday Doorbusters and Deals for 10 days from Nov. 19. Cyber Week Deals Dec. 1 to 6.

Best Buy Black Friday 2026 dates

Source: Best Buy holiday calendar (Oct. 27), checked Nov. 5. Best Buy calls the Nov. 29–30 event its "Cyber Sunday and Monday Sale Event" without listing separate dates; Nov. 29 and 30 are that Sunday and Monday.
Wait, aren't the early deals already live? Sort of. Since the DoorBOOsters sale ended, Best Buy has been running "Black Friday month" Deals of the Day and Top Deals, and deal sites have been calling them early Black Friday deals since Nov. 2. 9to5Toys notes the official Early Black Friday Sale doesn't begin until this week, per Best Buy's schedule. Expect a fresh batch of Doorbusters on Nov. 6.

My Best Buy Plus and Total: what members get this season
- Double rewards: Plus and Total members earn double rewards on purchases from Nov. 19 to Dec. 6, plus member-only offers such as spend-and-get promotions through the season (Best Buy).
- Bonus rewards now: 9to5Toys reported on Nov. 3 that Plus and Total members can earn $25 in bonus rewards with a purchase of $500 or more on Best Buy's Top Deals page. Check the current terms on the offer.
- Longer holiday returns: most purchases made Oct. 30 through Dec. 31 can be returned through Jan. 15, 2027, or Jan. 31, 2027, for Plus and Total members.
- Year-round perks: Plus includes free two-day shipping, a 60-day return window and member prices. Total adds product protection (including AppleCare+ on eligible Apple purchases), 24/7 tech support and 20% off repair labor. The free My Best Buy tier gets free standard shipping.

Is a membership worth it just for Black Friday? Only if you're making a big purchase. Double rewards and the extra two weeks of returns help on a TV or laptop. For a $50 gift, the free tier's shipping is enough.
How Best Buy's price match works this season
- Holiday Price Match Guarantee: most products bought at Best Buy between Oct. 30 and Dec. 31 can be price matched through Jan. 15 if Best Buy's own price drops. It doesn't cover competitors' prices.
- Not covered: items excluded from the extended holiday return period, such as phones bought with a carrier contract, AppleCare+ plans, holiday decorations and non-returnable products. Open-box, refurbished, clearance and Marketplace items are excluded from price matching too.
- Matching other stores: Best Buy's standard Price Match Guarantee matches "Qualified Competitors" at the time of sale, but it won't match competitor prices from the Thursday before Thanksgiving through the Monday after. This year that's Nov. 19 to Nov. 30, which is exactly Best Buy's Black Friday window. It also skips competitor prices labeled as Black Friday pricing and member-only prices such as Walmart+ or Prime deals.

What that means for you: buying early at Best Buy carries little risk. If something you bought on Nov. 6 gets cheaper at Best Buy on Nov. 20, ask for the difference. Just don't count on Best Buy matching Walmart's or Amazon's Black Friday prices during Black Friday week.
The best tech deals at Best Buy right now
We can't pull Best Buy prices ourselves (its site blocks automated checks), so these are deals reported by established deal sites, with the date each one reported them. Best Buy's prices can change from day to day, and Doorbusters can sell out, so check the listing before you buy. You can browse Best Buy's current deals here.
Smart home
- Google Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen): $219.99 (reg. $280), with "excellent" condition open-box units from $158.99, per 9to5Toys (Nov. 5). Open-box units aren't covered by price matching.
- Google Home Speaker (2026): $79.99 (reg. $100), its first cash discount, per 9to5Toys (Nov. 2), still listed as live in 9to5Toys' Nov. 5 roundup. 9to5Toys says Amazon doesn't officially carry it.
Laptops
- Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge, 16-inch (Snapdragon X Elite, 16GB, 512GB): $699.99 (list $1,450), per 9to5Toys (Nov. 4). It's an older chip now, but a big AMOLED touchscreen at this price is rare.
- Dell XPS 13 (Core 5 320, 8GB, 512GB, 3K touchscreen): $599.99 (usually $800), a new low, per 9to5Toys (Nov. 3). The 16GB/512GB Core Ultra 7 model is $999.99.
- Microsoft Surface Laptop 13.8-inch (Snapdragon X2 Plus, 16GB, 512GB): $1,200 (reg. $1,600), per 9to5Toys (Nov. 4).
TVs
- LG 55-inch C6 OLED: $1,000 (was $2,000), per DealNews (posted Nov. 2, still listed Nov. 5).
- TCL 40-inch QLED Roku TV: $150 (was $300), per DealNews (same listing). A good bedroom or dorm TV.
Phones and trackers
- Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge 256GB (unlocked): $700 ($400 off), per DealNews. Buying unlocked matters here: phones bought with a carrier contract are excluded from the Holiday Price Match Guarantee.
- Apple AirTag (2nd gen) 4-pack: $80 (was $99), per DealNews. See the comparison below before you buy.
Same item, three stores
| Item | Best Buy | Amazon | Walmart.com |
|---|---|---|---|
| Apple AirTag (2nd gen) 4-pack | $80, per DealNews (Nov. 2) | $70, per 9to5Toys (Nov. 4) | $79.99, checked by Skimwire Nov. 5, 11:14 a.m. MT |
| Apple AirPods Pro 3 | Not discounted, per 9to5Toys (Nov. 4) | $199, per 9to5Toys (Nov. 4) | $199 (was $249), checked by Skimwire Nov. 5, 11:14 a.m. MT |
Walmart.com prices were read from Walmart's product pages (sold and shipped by Walmart.com, in stock). Best Buy and Amazon prices are as reported by the outlets named, on the dates shown. Check AirTag on Amazon, Walmart or Best Buy.
Our take: the Nest Learning Thermostat at $219.99 and the Google Home Speaker at $79.99 are the standouts, because they're Google's current models at or near their best prices to date, per 9to5Toys, and the Home Speaker isn't officially sold on Amazon. On Apple gear, Best Buy isn't the cheapest right now. And since its price match won't follow Amazon or Walmart during Black Friday week, compare before you check out.
How to shop Best Buy's Black Friday
- Check who's selling. Best Buy's price match excludes Marketplace sellers. Look for items sold by Best Buy.
- Open-box can be the real deal. "Excellent" condition open-box units are often the lowest price, but they can't be price matched later.
- Buy early, then watch. With the Holiday Price Match Guarantee, if Best Buy drops the price before Jan. 15 you can ask for the difference. Set a reminder to check on Fridays, when new deals drop.
- Thanksgiving is online only. Stores are closed Nov. 26, so plan app or BestBuy.com orders (or store pickup) for that day.
