About Skimwire

Skimwire is the day's tech news, skimmed fast. We're an independent publication, launched in October 2026 by Jeremy Moon, for people who want to know what happened in tech today without wading through a river of hot takes.

What you get

Editorial standards

• Verified sources. Every story is based on primary sources wherever possible: company announcements, filings, official statements, published research, or reporting from established outlets. We link to our sources so you can check them yourself.
• Facts and analysis are kept apart. When we add context or opinion, we say so.
• No pay-for-coverage. Advertisers and affiliate partners do not decide what we cover or what we say. Sponsored content is always clearly labeled.
• Images. Many of our feature images are AI-assisted editorial illustrations, not photographs of the events described. See our disclosure page.

Corrections policy

We get things wrong sometimes, and when we do we fix them quickly and openly. If you spot an error, email skimwirehq@gmail.com with the link and what's wrong. We review every report. Substantive corrections (a wrong fact, figure, name or quote) are made in the story and noted at the bottom with the date of the correction. Minor fixes such as typos or formatting are made without a note.
