Amazon Black Friday 2026: What We Know About the Dates, Plus the Early Tech Deals Live Now

Amazon hasn't set its 2026 Black Friday Week dates yet, but early deals are live. What we know, last year's dates, and tech deals reported now.

Amazon still hasn't announced the dates for its 2026 Black Friday Week sale, but its early holiday deals are already live. Amazon's own Black Friday guide confirms Black Friday is Friday, Nov. 27, and Cyber Monday is Nov. 30, and says to "check back soon" for event details. Here's what we know as of Wednesday, Nov. 4, what last year's schedule suggests, and the early tech deals reputable deal sites are reporting at Amazon this week.

This is No. 2 in our daily Black Friday series, with a different retailer each day through Cyber Monday. Yesterday was Walmart's Black Friday dates and deals. For every retailer's dates in one place, see our Black Friday 2026 overview.

The skim

  • Dates: Amazon hasn't announced its 2026 Black Friday Week or Cyber Monday sale window yet. Black Friday is Nov. 27 and Cyber Monday is Nov. 30.
  • Last year: Amazon announced its dates on Nov. 9, 2025, and ran Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday from Nov. 20 to Dec. 1.
  • Right now: Amazon says early deals are live in its Holiday Shop. Deal sites report AirPods Pro 3 at $199 and Amazon's own Ring, Blink and Fire devices up to 60% off.

What last year tells us

In 2025, Amazon announced its Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday deal events on Nov. 9. They started Nov. 20 at 12:01 a.m. PST (1:01 a.m. MST) and ran through Dec. 1. That was a Thursday start, eight days before Black Friday.

Going by that pattern, 9to5Toys expects Amazon's 2026 sale to start Thursday, Nov. 19, the same day Best Buy's 10-day Black Friday event begins. That's a prediction, not an Amazon date. We'll update this post and our overview as soon as Amazon announces.

Early Amazon tech deals reported this week

We can't yet pull live Amazon prices ourselves, so these are deals reported by established deal sites, with the date each site checked. Amazon prices move constantly, especially in November, so check the listing before you buy.

Our take: AirPods Pro 3 at $199 is the one to watch. 9to5Toys thinks they could dip closer to $179 or $169 during the main sale, so if they're a gift you're not in a hurry to buy, waiting is a reasonable bet. And it's not an Amazon-only price: Walmart.com also had AirPods Pro 3 at $199 (was $249), sold and shipped by Walmart.com, when we checked today at 11:08 a.m. MT. They're in our gift guide for him.

Prime, price history and deal alerts

  • Prime pricing: $14.99 a month or $139 a year, with a free 30-day trial if you're eligible. Prime for Young Adults (ages 18 to 24) and college students get a six-month $0 trial, then $7.49 a month or $69 a year. Prime Access for qualifying government-assistance recipients is $6.99 a month.
  • Price history: Amazon says you can tap "Price History" on a product page, or ask its Alexa for Shopping assistant, to see up to 365 days of prices. That's the quickest way to tell if a "deal" is actually a deal.
  • Deal alerts and auto-buy: Alexa for Shopping can watch items on your lists, alert you when they drop and, if you set it up, buy automatically when the price hits your target.

How to shop Amazon's Black Friday

  • Check who's selling. Look for "Ships from Amazon" and "Sold by Amazon" (or the brand's own store) on the listing. Marketplace sellers can price the same item differently.
  • Use the price history before you buy. Several of the early deals Popular Science found only tie their 2026 lows, so a "Black Friday" label doesn't guarantee a new low price.
  • Compare. Best Buy's Early Black Friday Deals start Nov. 6, and Walmart's start Nov. 12. You can compare at Best Buy before you check out.

Shopping for gifts?

Our Black Friday gift guides are built on prices we checked on the retailer's page the day we published: gifts for him (the upgrade he'd never buy himself), tech gifts under $25 and gifts for gamers.
