## What to know before you buy

- **25W wireless needs a newer iPhone.** Per [Macworld](https://www.macworld.com/article/3243076/ugreen-magflow-pro-power-bank-review.html?ref=skimwire.com), only the iPhone 16 and later can draw the full 25W over Qi2.2\. Older MagSafe iPhones and the iPhone 17e are capped at 15W, and the iPhone Air at 20W. The iPhone 16e has no magnets at all. On those phones, a cheaper 15W bank charges just as fast.
- **"10,000mAh" is not two full charges of anything.** Some energy is lost as heat, especially over wireless charging. Macworld's tests got about two full iPhone charges from the best 10K banks and 1.7 from the average one.
- **Wired is still faster and wastes less.** If speed matters more than convenience, plug in.
- **Flying:** the [FAA](https://www.faa.gov/hazmat/packsafe/lithium-batteries?ref=skimwire.com) allows power banks in carry-on bags only, never checked bags, up to 100Wh each. Every pick here is around 39Wh. Some airlines add stricter rules, so check yours.

## Anker MagGo Power Bank 2 Pro: best overall

The [MagGo Power Bank 2 Pro](https://www.anker.com/products/a110r-qi2-maggo-2-pro-magnetic-power-bank?ref=skimwire.com) (model A110R) is $109.99 at Anker and on Amazon. It does the most of any magnetic bank here: 25W Qi2.2 wireless charging, a 45W USB-C port that can top up an iPad or a MacBook Air, a fan to keep the phone cool, a screen showing charge status, and a fold-out stand for watching video or using StandBy.

It also refills itself fastest. Anker says it reaches 80% in 52 minutes with a 45W charger and cable, which aren't included. Macworld measured 199% of an iPhone charge, and the [New York Post](https://nypost.com/shopping/made-it-here-awards-best-power-banks-2026/?ref=skimwire.com) named it the best power bank of 2026\. Anker lists it as compatible with the iPhone 13 through iPhone 17 series, except the iPhone 16e.

**Watch out for:** it's the thickest here at 17.8mm, it has no built-in cable, and you can hear the fan up close.

**Buy:** [Anker MagGo Power Bank 2 Pro on Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0H695SJZD?tag=techtalkwithj-20&ref=skimwire.com).

## Ugreen MagFlow Pro: best with a built-in cable

![Ugreen MagFlow Pro power bank attached to the back of an iPhone](https://storage.ghost.io/c/1b/e0/1be0a33a-49c9-4654-bd16-97fdc92be59d/content/images/2026/10/magflowpro.jpg)

Image: Ugreen

The [MagFlow Pro](https://us.ugreen.com/products/magflow-pro-qi2-25w-magnetic-power-bank-10000mah?ref=skimwire.com) was $94.98 at Ugreen and on Amazon on Oct. 24, against a $149.99 list price. It matches the Anker's 25W wireless and 45W wired speeds, and adds a built-in 45W USB-C cable that loops into the spare port to make a carry strap. It can charge three devices at once, though total output drops to 15W when it does.

In [Macworld's tests](https://www.macworld.com/article/3243076/ugreen-magflow-pro-power-bank-review.html?ref=skimwire.com) it delivered 208% of an iPhone charge, the best result the site has recorded from a 10,000mAh bank. Ugreen cools it with a fan and liquid cooling. At 16mm it's slimmer than the Anker, but at 235g it's a little heavier.

**Watch out for:** there's no kickstand, it recharges more slowly than the Anker (30W), and Macworld found the fan a bit louder, with a slight buzz on two of the three units it tested.

**Buy:** [Ugreen MagFlow Pro on Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0GYYY5CW9?tag=techtalkwithj-20&ref=skimwire.com).

## Ugreen MagFlow Air: best slim pick

If you want something that disappears on the back of your phone, the MagFlow Air ($59.99 on Amazon on Oct. 24) is 13.9mm thick and weighs 214g, with a built-in USB-C cable and 30W wired charging in and out. It charges wirelessly at 15W, so a newer iPhone charges more slowly than it would on the Pro models above. That speed is identical on any iPhone 15 or older. It matched the MagFlow Pro's 208% in [Macworld's battery test](https://www.macworld.com/article/3135426/ugreen-magflow-air-reviews-these-slim-power-banks-just-smashed-our-iphone-recharge-records.html?ref=skimwire.com).

**Watch out for:** [Expert Reviews](https://www.expertreviews.co.uk/technology/batteries-charging/ugreen-magflow-air-review?ref=skimwire.com) notes there's no percentage display or kickstand. In their test a wireless charge from 0 to 50% took almost two hours, against 28 minutes over the cable.

**Buy:** [Ugreen MagFlow Air on Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F37QGJHP?tag=techtalkwithj-20&ref=skimwire.com).

## Anker Nano Power Bank (10K, 45W): best cheap wired pick

![Anker Nano Power Bank with its retractable USB-C cable](https://storage.ghost.io/c/1b/e0/1be0a33a-49c9-4654-bd16-97fdc92be59d/content/images/2026/10/nano45.jpg)

Image: Anker

No magnets, but it works with any USB-C phone, including Android phones and the iPhone 16e. The [Anker Nano Power Bank](https://www.anker.com/products/a1638-10k-45w-power-bank?ref=skimwire.com) (model A1638) is $59.99 at Anker and was $49.99 on Amazon on Oct. 24\. Its 2.3-foot USB-C cable retracts into the body, it puts out up to 45W, it has a small screen showing charge status, and it recharges at 30W. Trusted Reviews picks it as the [best power bank for travel](https://www.trustedreviews.com/best/best-power-bank-4551042?ref=skimwire.com).

**Watch out for:** it's a chunky little block rather than a slim slab, and 45W only reaches devices that support it.

**Buy:** [Anker Nano Power Bank (10K, 45W) on Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DGGKSV1X?tag=techtalkwithj-20&ref=skimwire.com). Other colors are on the same listing.
